The predominant author of this blog is Safrianna, though it will feature occasional posts from Jake (aka Caine), her partner & twinflame. Safrianna & Jake live together on the East Coast of the United States and walk a vibrant spiritual path. In the next three years, they plan to become more deeply involved by opening a Sacred Grove through the Order of Bards, Ovates, & Druids, which shall be known as the Grove of the Sacred OakHeart.
Both Safrianna and Jake work with healing energies, bardic crafts, and divination.

Although raised Christian, I have been a proud pagan since 2007, predominantly following a Druidic path. It came to me on a whim one day when I rolled out of bed and exclaimed aloud, “I am a Druid!” I had no idea what it meant at the time, but as most things that just come to me, it stuck. I have also explored: Hellenismos (or Greek Reconstruction); Celtic Reconstruction; Shamanism; Buddhism; Wicca; Hinduism; and Unitarian Universalism. I am currently in the Bardic Grade of the Order of Bards, Ovates, & Druids.
As topics of interest, I am particularly drawn to in Celtic Spirituality, Druidry, crystal work, energy healing, Shamanic Journeying, tarot, singing bowls, rattling, drumming, herbs, potions, candle magic, and moon energy. I am a soon to be licensed clinical therapist, a certified teacher, and an aspiring writer.
I am devoted to several Celtic Goddesses. My first patron Goddess is Brigid. I work with Morrigan from time to time. Recently, I’ve come in touch with Arianrhod (who is kicking my butt!).

While being raised in a Catholic family, I felt no connection to their spiritual path. It left me doubting a lot about the universe, the meaning of life, and all of those other wildly broad and existential topics. It wasn’t until being introduced to spirituality which was rooted in the earth that I began to feel truly connected to the world around me. I believe strongly that the Earth Mother is our greatest teacher, and find my path to be most closely associated with the ancient wildness of shamanic traditions. I am a proud new member of OBOD, and very excited to continue learning all they have to offer.
My notable spiritual interests include the healing arts of touch and sound. I am also an aspiring massage and aroma therapist. It is my strong desire to refine my skills into something that can truly impact the world around me. I’m hugely into music, fire magic, energy work, herbalism/holistic approach to health, meditation, and divination. My instrument of choice is the primal sound of playing the didgeridoo, but I also love drumming, singing bowls, and tuning forks, as well as using my own voice for some of those sweet, sweet tribal tunes.
